Queer and trans-inclusive services have specific support and considerations in place for members of the LGBTQ2S+ community. Let's take a moment to reflect on what this time of year means for us in the film and entertainment industry and, more importantly, how we can support our 2SLGBTQ+ colleagues when it comes to mental health and inclusion.

Trans Care BC

A resource that helps connect to gender-affirming health and wellness supports as close to home as possible.

Omunity

Free health and wellness counselling provided by practicum students completing their Masters degrees, or low-cost counselling provided by Registered Counsellors and Social Workers.

TransFocus

Canada’s most trusted resources, helpful tips and access to webinars that educate and help you create a gender inclusive environment.

Health Initiative for Men. (HIM)

Nonprofit society that aims to strengthen the health and well-being in communities of self-identified GBQ men and gender diverse people in BC. They offer a full spectrum of health-based programming and services to meet the sexual, mental, physical and social health needs of communities of self-identified GBQ men and gender diverse people in BC.

South Asian Canadians Health & Social Services

Culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health, addictions, and other services, for South Asian men, women, seniors and youth, and other communities.
